INNOVATION FOR MUNICIPALITIES AT EDA CONFERENCE
On Thursday, April 12th, 2012, Casey Vander Ploeg, Senior Policy Analyst, Canada West Foundation, and John Lee, President, Communities of Tomorrow, will address Economic Development Alberta’s (EDA) 2012 Annual Professional Conference and Annual General Meeting at the Delta Kananaskis Lodge.
As panellists for the “Developing Innovative Infrastructure” session, they will be discussing innovative solutions and best practices to address the challenges associated with growing populations and aging infrastructure through the Transforming our Communities initiative, LetsTOC.
LetsTOC (www.letstoc.ca) is a web-based and social media project created by Communities of Tomorrow and the Canada West Foundation which is designed to present and promote new and creative solutions so that we can transform our communities into cost-effective, eco-friendly, economically stable, prosperous, growing and thriving places to live and work.
Casey and John will be making their presentation at 9:00 a.m. in the Gold room and will be available for interviews immediately after.
